I’m a Melbourne-based freelance photographer with a passion for capturing raw emotion, genuine connection and real stories, one moment at a time.
While sport has played a huge role in shaping my career, photography has always been about more than just the action. For me, it’s about recognising the moments that unfold naturally in front of the camera, the emotion, energy, personalities and connections that make every story unique.
My journey began almost 15 years ago in high school, teaching myself photography through YouTube, trial and error, and an obsession with learning everything I could about the craft. That passion eventually led me to work at The Ballarat Courier, study Photo Imaging, and begin building a career in photography.
Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to work and learn alongside some of Australia’s best photographers, while also representing Australia internationally. In 2018, I was selected as one of six young photographers from around the world for the International Olympic Committee’s Young Reporters Programme at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. I was later invited to join the Olympic Information Services photography team at the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Winter Games in Switzerland. Two experiences that remain defining moments in both my life and career.
From 2019 to 2025, I spent six incredible years with AFL Photos as one of just two full-time photographers working nationally. The role gave me unrivalled access to the inner sanctum of all 18 AFL and AFLW clubs, allowing me to capture everything from match-day action and premiership celebrations to portraits, team photo days, major events and the quieter moments behind the scenes.
Today, I work as a freelance photographer specialising in sport, while also working with clubs, businesses, organisations, events and individuals across a wide range of photography projects.
Whether it’s the intensity of a packed stadium, the emotion of a special event, the personality behind a portrait or a moment happening quietly behind the scenes, my goal is always the same:
To capture something real.
The celebrations. The nerves. The pride. The heartbreak. The laughter. The connections. And the moments that might only last a second, but can tell a story for years to come.
Because the best photographs aren’t always perfectly planned.
Sometimes, they’re simply about being in the right place, ready to capture the moment.
